GLOBAL GOVERNANCE:
International law on human rights and the liability of transnational corporations

Report of the international seminar, organised by IRENE, the Netherlands, EAD/ Evangelic Academy, Bad Boll, Germany. 3 and 4 December 2001

Participants at this international round-table setting included lawyers involved in human rights litigation; human rights lawyers and specialists from NGOs and religious federations; academics and researchers; trade union and human rights organisations and business.
Presentations and discussions focussed on the development of international law, on human rights and TNCs within the WTO framework, on national law, showing American, British and Dutch litigation examples, and on the OECD Guidelines and treaties against corruption.
